“THE MIGHTY BEARS” (Writer/Producer/Director/Editor) - A 6 part-13 hour documentary series on the social and sporting history of North Sydney Rugby League Football 1900-2000. Narrative through the life stories of 51 players. Completed 2005.

“THE MIGHTY EELS” (Writer/Producer/Director/Editor) - A 4 part-12 hour documentary series on the sporting and social history of Parramatta Rugby League 1908-2001. Narrative through the life stories of 57 players. Completed 2006. 

“THE MIGHTY BULLDOGS” (Writer/Producer/Director/Editor) - A 4 part-14 hour documentary series on the sporting and social history of Canterbury Bankstown Rugby League 1908-2004. Narrative through the life stories of 50 players. Currently in production - Volume One Two and Three completed. Volume Four to be released in November 2010.

This trilogy is regarded as the most comprehensive sporting and social history narratives ever produced on three sporting clubs ever made.

BANKSTOWN CRICKET CLUB - A History of Cricket - in depth interviews with 17 selected members of this famous cricket club which include eye witness accounts from the 1920s and four leading state players, six top internationals and an Australian captain. It is the first time a grade cricket club in Australia has filmed this type of history. The work is for a Hall of Fame at Bankstown Oval.

Publicist for the Australian visits of world famous Total Quality Management guru Dr. W. EDWARDS DEMING.

Dr. Deming was born in Wyoming in 1900. He gained his doctorate from Yale in 1927, worked at the Bell Laboratories in the 1930’s where he developed his ideas for TQM which were largely ignored in America.  He invented the idea of sampling (often used today in market research), during his work for the US Census in the late 1930’s. His work with the census led him to be invited by General Douglas Macarthur to help rebuild post war Japan.  During some lectures to local Japanese industry leaders in the northern spring of 1950, Dr Deming explained his methods of TQM.  Unlike the Americans back in the 30’s, the locals took it seriously and the rest is history.

Early History:

Richard Bradley was born in 1949 and is the yougest of three children. He grew up in North Sydney and attended Neutral Bay Public School and Mosman High School completing the Intermediate Certificate. During this time he became interested in films and puchased his first 8mm movie camera at aged 13 from money he earned selling newspapers after school. When he left school his first job was a copy boy at The Sydney Morning Herald and Sun Newspapers and Woman's Day Magazine in Sydney. He moved on to Shipping Newspapers in North Sydney who offered him an apprenticeship which he completed in 1970. The apprenticeship required him to attend Sydney Technical College to complete a four year course in Graphic Arts. After this time he worked for a number of printing and packaging firms whilst he started producing his own films financed by his weekly earnings. The films put him in touch with many actors from the Ensemble Theatre and it was not long after that he started his film career at APA Film Studios in Sydney during the mid 1970s.
